Meet our Graduate Alumni
Our former graduates are proof of how the program can shape a career and open doors to new opportunities. Here, a few of them share their journeys – from their first contact with Arkatay to where they are today.
Elin Bjurstam
Elin joined Arkatay’s Graduate Program in August 2023, right after completing her master’s degree in Management at Lund University. She applied because she wanted a varied start to her career, with a balance between learning and practical experience.
During the program, Elin worked in several internal roles – mainly in marketing, but also in sales and procurement. At the same time, she was quickly involved in client projects with a large international industrial company. With support from senior colleagues, her responsibilities grew step by step, moving from supporting roles to leading more complex initiatives.
A central part of her experience was the focus on continuous development. Through training, coaching, and certifications, including PRINCE2, Elin gained tools that strengthened both her skills and her confidence as a consultant.
Today, Elin holds a dual role at Arkatay. Most of her time is spent as a project management consultant, supporting organizations in strengthening their project management capabilities, improving information management, and developing internal communication. She also serves as Arkatay’s operational marketing manager, responsible for planning and executing marketing activities.
“The Graduate Program gave me a fantastic start to my career. I was given the opportunity to learn a lot early on, while continuously being challenged to grow and take on more responsibility.”
Maja Dreyer
Maja completed Arkatay’s Graduate Program between 2023 and 2025, after earning a master’s degree in Managing People, Knowledge and Change from Lund University. She was drawn to the program by the opportunity to translate theory into practice, collaborate closely with senior colleagues, and explore a variety of assignments. With a strong interest in people, leadership, and organizational change, she quickly found her place within Arkatay’s purpose-driven environment.
During the first phase of the program, Maja worked internally with recruitment and sales while simultaneously taking her first steps as a junior management consultant for one of Arkatay’s largest clients. As her experience grew, so did her responsibilities – she began leading her own projects and client deliveries. Through Arkatay’s internal training programs and her PRINCE2 Practitioner certification, Maja further strengthened her skills in project and change management.
Today, Maja has completed the graduate program and works as an Operational IT Project Manager at the Øresundsbron, where she leads several IT projects focused on digitalization and system development. She remains actively involved at Arkatay, contributing to both recruitment and the graduate program.
“Arkatay has been a place where I’ve grown both professionally and personally – an environment that encourages development, fosters responsibility, and cultivates a strong sense of community.”
Kevin Sällberg
Kevin joined Arkatay’s Graduate Program in August 2022 after earning a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a master’s in Service Management – Retail at Lund University. He had also taken courses in project management and industrial economics. The program appealed to him because it combined project management and sales with a strong focus on learning and development.
What Kevin appreciated most during the program were the trainings, certifications, and the opportunity to take on challenging assignments early on, together with experienced colleagues. He worked on large-scale transformation projects reaching audiences of several hundred people, conducted international training sessions, and supported senior executives in navigating complex challenges.
Today, Kevin works as a Management Consultant and Business Controller at Arkatay. In his role, he helps organizations with development and complex problem-solving while managing the company’s internal financial steering, focusing on revenue and costs. He also plays an active role in sales toward some of Arkatay’s key clients.
“At Arkatay, you truly get the chance to grow. It’s an exciting and unique workplace where you can shape your own career based on what you’re passionate about.”
Maja Grälls
Maja was the first participant in Arkatay’s newly launched Graduate Program. After completing her Master’s degree in Management at Lund University, and working part-time at the European Spallation Source (ESS) project department, the Graduate Program at Arkatay Consulting felt like a natural next step – a combination of project and management work with a steep development curve.
The foundation of the Graduate role is to rapidly strengthen one’s capabilities in project and change management. As part of her development, Maja initially worked internally at the company, supporting sales and marketing efforts, and contributing to colleagues’ work by preparing and documenting workshops, administering internal projects, and supporting external deliveries. She then went on to take ownership of her own external assignments and deliveries, while maintaining her internal engagement as Procurement Lead, and later, Strategic Marketing Lead.
Alongside her work, Maja also took advantage of the company’s collective expertise and training portfolio, earning certifications such as PRINCE2 Practitioner. Today, Maja primarily works as an operational project management consultant, currently leading and driving projects for one of Arkatay’s largest clients. She has also retained her involvement in Marketing, where she holds strategic responsibility.
“Being part of Arkatay’s Graduate Program has given me valuable experiences, insights, and tools that have shaped me both professionally and personally. Through challenging projects, mentorship, and a supportive network, I’ve grown more than I thought possible in such a short time.”
