Arkatay is a self-governing organization that is organized according to self-governing principles, and we’re happy to share our knowledge and experience on the subject. One of our most treasured values is insight and in order contribute with insight to the project management ecosystem we actively work with teaching and mediating our knowledge to the world around us. We want to be the link between our customers and the most relevant best practice available. We strive for, together with our customers, creating pragmatically applied solutions based on best practice.

 

Inspired by Teal

Arkatay Consulting is a value- and purpose driven organization that act for the values of participation and wellbeing. We are inspired by the organization form called Teal and are organized in self-governed teams coordinated and supported by central management functions. We use our purpose and values to guide our decisions and navigate our organization’s long-term direction.

To embody the values of wellbeing and participation, we have created a structure where it’s the employees that own the organization, everyone has the same formal power, and decisions can be made by anyone. We believe that these principles create a stimulating workplace, a sustainable development of the organization over time and a personal development of the individuals that are active within the organization.

Apart from living as we teach, we further want to teach others about how we live and spread the knowledge about self-governing organizations. We have extensive experience of self-governing teams, self-governing organizations, and in addition a solid theoretical foundation based on best practice on the subject.

 

From theory to practice

We have previously held large inspirational seminars about self-governing organizations, with the purpose of generating knowledge as well as share our experiences whilst also reviewing how your organization can use parts of the, or the entire, organization form in harmony with your specific business context. In other words, we offer consulting services to guide organizations that are interested in implementing this organization form.
